Search Engine Submission Guidelines:
Before submitting your site to the search engine,
Make sure that the pages are ready. Read about preparing your pages for
search engines, creating meta tags, keywords, and placement. A special
HTML tag that provides information about a Web page. Unlike normal HTML
tags, meta tags do not affect how the page is displayed. Instead, they
provide information such as who created the page, how often it is updated,
what the page is about, and which keywords represent the page's content.
Many search engines use this information when building their indices. Use
this servise to submit to hundreds of thousands of Search Engines, FFA'S,
and Classified Ads sites. WorldSubmitter.com
Make sure you make keyword specific doorway pages, there are several free
doorway page creators online, I'm compiling a list and should have it online
by this weekend. Sample

or copy and edit the sample here. Robot.txt files are
used to keep SE's from spidering directories or files you do not want spidered
such as your cgi-bin. Copy the following code, Paste in a text editor,
edit to fit the files and directories you DO NOT want spidered, save as
robot.txt, and upload to your site. This will keep surfers from viewing
your pages that you do not want them to view.
The sample below tells search engines not to
index pages in the specified folders.

Disallow: /cgi-bin/

Give each webpage on your site a relevant title with keywords describing
the content of that page. Enter those keywords in the
<TITLE> html tag. Those words are what a browser will display in
its title bar. Generally don't put more that 10 words there.
Use <META> tags. The provide additional info to search engines to
better index your site. You add them between the <HEAD> tags. For example:
<META name="description" content="Describe your website in a phrase
or sentence">
<META name="keywords"content="keywords, short phrases, that, describe,
your site">
Don't spam search engines by repeating keywords many times in the above
tags or use keyword not relevant to your site.
If you do so, most search engines will just exclude your site.
